These are, as the saying goes, truly unprecedented times. The stress of living in California during the lockdown can be unbearable. But I can help. 

If you are struggling with the coronavirus lockdown, whether you are in the centre of it all in Los Angeles or anywhere else in California, I offer online therapy that can help you cope with stress, anxiety, and depression. The cause of your anguish does not even have to be a result of the lockdown, but I do understand how these difficult times can make your stress and anxiety even worse. You need someone to talk to.

I provide coping strategies that are action-based and focus on the practical application of my years of training in cognitive behavioral therapy. We’ll go through exercises that are meant to help you cope with the unknowns - of COVID-19 and all of life’s stressors.

Whether you’re going through a divorce or other life upheaval, someone close to you is seriously ill or has recently died, or if you have generalized anxiety about the state of the nation and the world, I am here to listen in a safe, confidential, and comforting virtual space as your trusted online therapist.

I meet you where you’re at, whatever you need to talk about. Your life in California might be hectic and stressful, fast-paced and busy, or you might be settling down in life and dealing with the pressures of family, work, and all the other things that make us human. Stress is adaptive and is a good thing, or we would have been eaten by sabretooth tigers in the stone age. However, how you cope with stress and how you let it affect your life is up to you. I help with coping strategies for when daily life feels like it's too much.


Depression Therapy

We all need someone to talk to when we're feeling sad. Depression, however, is more than "just feeling sad" and exists from a series of factors that I can talk you through and help you adapt to live your best life.

Anxiety Therapy

From "normal" everyday anxiety to generalized anxiety disorder, we all feel apprehensive about life at times. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy to help you manage your thoughts and behaviors, so you make your anxiety work for you.


PTSD Therapy

Certain events in life leave more tragic impressions on our psyche than others. My area of specialization in PTSD is focused around health and illness, disease, and injuries.

Health, Illness, and Healthcare Worker Therapy

Having been a nurse for over 20 years, I have an insight that other therapists do not have into the stress of being a healthcare worker, someone who has an advanced illness, or someone who loves someone with an advanced illness.

Grief and Bereavement Therapy

I am not only trained as a Grief and Bereavement Counselor, but I have lived through grief and bereavement myself, and I can help you do the same.

* Please note that I am not a psychiatrist nor am I a physician and therefore I do not prescribe or titrate pharmaceutical prescriptions. However, having been a nurse for over 20 years, I am well-versed in the biochemical basis of anxiety and depression and their often-prescribed medications.

My rates for therapy are $70 USD (or $90 CAD) for the first session, including my review of your New Client Intake Form before the session, and $62.50 USD (or $80 CAD) for each subsequent session. Packages of 3 appointments after the first session can be prebought for $175 USD, which works out to roughly $58.35 each session (or $225 CAD, which works out to $75 CAD a session). Please note that I do not currently accept any extended health plan coverage, but being unaffiliated means that I am available to you on short notice.
